Latest BookWise Announcements

Posted by: Tim Finucane   in Bookwise Information, Bookwise Updates

Wow! Last night BookWise announced a complete revamp of the business and compensation model. Much of what I have on this site is no longer valid. I will be updating it as soon as I completely understand all the new details. BookWise is switching from a network marketing model to more of an affiliate marketing model. This should put more money in the pockets of people actively signing up new associates.  I am still trying to grasp all of the new information. I promise I will have one big post detailing it all just as soon as I have every nugget of information.

The changes will officially take place June 1st.

BookWise Review

Posted by: Tim Finucane   in Bookwise Information

I noticed that several people came to my site from the keyword search “Bookwise Review.” So, since a bunch of people are looking for reviews of BookWise I thought I would give my thoughts after having been in it for a couple of months.

Getting any new business up and running takes patience and time. After only a couple of months I have not yet gotten my first associates signed up, but I have found a few new preferred customers, and I think that’s a good start.

I’ve also spent lots of time listening to the current and past WealthWin, TaxWin, and PresidentWise calls via their podcast feeds. Lots of good stuff to learn there and applying it all will take time as I’m currently doing this part time while working my day job.

The book selection in the store is not quite what I’d like to see, and is really missing out on some of the newest books I see at other online stores. However, I do understand what a task it is to get all that data imported into the system (I’m a web programmer by day)  and I’m willing to be patient while they get the job done. Once they actually have the 1.5 million products they have promised in the system the store will be the place to shop for me. I think getting new customers enrolled will be much easier at that point.

I hope that gives everyone stopping by an idea of my experience so far, and if you want to talk with me further about it please feel free to contact me.
